Joanna Wallfisch has built an impressive profile since her move to New York from London in 2012. She has fashioned a musical identity of her own and been hailed by the great pianist Fred Hersch as “a real discovery—a first-rate musician in every way”.
Critics have described Joanna’s voice and music as “mesmerizing” (Jazzwise Magazine), with a “crystalline delivery” (Downbeat Magazine ) and a “sublime voice” (The Telegraph). In March 2015 she released her second album, “The Origin of Adjustable Things” (Sunnyside Records) — an intricate, sonically enveloping duo project with acclaimed classical and jazz pianist, Dan Tepfer.
Joanna is very excited to embark on her first tour of Australia, and to celebrate this fact at the Laneway Lounge in Perth.
