Aaron Spiers

Touring from London (UK), electric bassist Aaron Spiers will be promoting his new album ‘Play Your Own Way’ featuring his unique combination of improvisation and an energetic, fusion style often associated with Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius and Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew. Performing at the Perth Jazz Society with a fearsome band including Dylan Hooper(Saxophone), Harry Winton (Guitar) and Daniel Susnjar (Drums), the Aaron Spiers Group promises to deliver an unforgettable performance.

Aaron’s career highlights include living in the UK and performing with Kim Wilde (UK) in Switzerland and the iRock Festival in the UK, supporting Toto (US) in Germany, performing in Sardinia with blues artist Marcus Malone (US) and Spain with guitarist Oli Brown (UK).

With his take on contemporary fusion, Aaron Spiers always delivers an exciting performance. Whether he’s performing originals or classics by the likes of Weather Report, his ensemble sounds tight, with a groove you can’t help but move to.‘ – Johannes Luebbers
